When the Altuzarra collection was shown for the first time at New York Fashion Week, in the spring of 2009, his draped dresses and tailored pants and coats were met with rave reviews—and he became the industry’s newest darling.

We’re both untrained in the classic sense and cut our teeth on the job,” Chow says. “We spent most of our career together at the menswear label Sean John. But more importantly I think we relate to fashion the way we relate to our existence in NYC. Fashion was always a platform for us to stand out from the pack and express our collective cultural interests,” he shares.

Grace Coddington

If Anna Wintour is the Pope, Grace Coddington is Michelangelo, trying to paint a fresh version of the Sistine Chapel twelve times a year,” Time magazine said in 2009, after Vogue’s creative director rather unexpectedly was launched into the public consciousness by the hit documentary The September Issue.

David Beckham’s new H&M underwear collection

Crouching on a rooftop in his pants, the former footballer displays new pieces from his David Beckham Bodywear collection for the Swedish high-street giant. From pants and vests, to long-sleeved loungewear T-shirts, Beckham models the whole collection himself, while running around semi-clothed on the rooftops of London.

H&M, Swedish multinational retail-clothing company, is ranked the second largest just behind Spain-based Inditex (parent company of Zara), and leading over the United States based GAP. Guest-designer collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Viktor & Rolf, Comme des Garcons, Roberto Cavalli, Lanvin, Versace, Sonia Rykiel, Maison Martin Margiela, Jimmy Choo. Beyonce is the brand face in 2013 and her advertising campaign draws heavily on Knowles’ personal style.

Riccardo Tisci | Nike

Riccardo Tisci has unveiled his debut collection for Nike: four pairs of trainers based upon the sport brand’s most celebrated style, the Air Force 1. With Chanel’s couture trainers unveiled one week ago and now Tisci’s new incarnation, sneakers have never looked so luxurious.

Riccardo Tisci is the Creative Director of Givenchy. He was educated at Central Saint Martins in London and worked for Puma before establishing his own line in 2004. It was his dark, sensual outlook that marked him out as someone unusual. “There’s something of the night in myself,” he said.

Kate Moss | McQueen | Klein

Kate Moss is the new face of Alexander McQueen. The images and campaign film were shot in East London by long-time McQueen collaborator Steven Klein. Moss was a good friend of the brand’s late eponymous founder and appeared as a ghostly hologram at the end of the designer’s a/w 2006 show.

Stefano Pilati | Agnona

Dree Hemingway stars in Agnona’s new campaign, shot by Inez and Vinoodh. Stefano Pilati’s debut at Agnona (the bourgeois Italian company that, for more than a half-century, has been synonymous with refined double-face cashmere) was pretty quiet by fashion standards, but the clothes themselves do the talking.

Chanel

The trainers that Karl Lagerfeld sent out with every look of this week’s Chanel couture show are only available as part of each couture look, meaning the pricetag is likely to be pretty eye-watering. “However, we always have similar versions in our commercial and ready-to-wear collections,” a spokesperson for Chanel assured everybody.
