Miss Piggy has hired Vivienne Westwood to design her wedding dress. Although her beloved Kermie is yet to propose, the glamorous puppet is already primed if and when the big day does ever happen. The ivory-coloured couture gown – which features in new film Muppets Most Wanted – is decorated in paillettes made using recycled plastic bottles, and is accessorised with a tulle veil.
“Vivienne Westwood is fabulous – just like moi,” said Miss Piggy. “When I asked her to design this wedding dress for moi’s new movie, Muppets Most Wanted, she was thrilled and I was thrilled.”
Jagger – who is currently the face of Rimmel and the ‘Just Cavalli’ fragrance – first appeared on the British Vogue cover in November 2009, before becoming one of Britain’s most sought-after young models. The model, who first came to the attention of most as the daughter of Rolling Stones frontman Mick and model Jerry Hall, has steadily built a successful career as a catwalk model – with appearances for Chanel, Balmain, Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton last season (2013) – and campaign face, appearing for H&M, Miu Miu and Vivienne Westwood among others.

Vivienne Westwood has designed and curated costumes for the Vienna State Ballet, to be worn when the dancers perform during the intermission of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra’s New Year’s concert on Wednesday. Austria native Andreas Kronthaler, creative director of Vivienne Westwood — and the designer’s husband — commented, “I feel honored that we were asked to design the costumes for the New Year’s Concert ballet, as it holds such tradition for me.”
